“It’s not in my words but my silence I will retreat to. All the things that you expect me to say, those things I will no longer do. I am just here in my darkness waiting for you. It’s a world that seemed to be to perfect to be true. When I met you my heart grew wings and flew. Now upon the ground it’s contents are slew. It’s barely beating and is needing a stitch or two. So no more from my lips or fingertips of the love I have for you. It’s not in my words but my silence I will retreat to. All the things that you expect me to say, those things I will no longer do.”
