“When the battle begins of the heart and mind, it’s a war of feelings and memories, which you’ve got to fight through and it’s never kind. Letting things go feels like giving up on what the heart wants and the mind fights to control to regain the balance. But it’s better to severe the ties that bind you, to stop with the I love you’s and start bidding adue. Or you’ll find yourself beaten and broken and you’ll never make it through. The battlefield of love, where is the training and boot camp to prepare for that war, seems an all out surprise attack, nothing you can prepare for.”
